The Professional REWARD$ program acknowledges and rewards progressive education, educational attainment and commitment to continuous employment at a child care center, group or family child care home regulated by a Federal, State or Tribal authority. Approved child care professionals will receive a financial incentive ranging from $300 to $2,000 based on their education.
The Quality First Child Care Scholarship Program is a signature program of First Things First and administered by Valley of the Sun United Way.
Valley of the Sun United Way has three primary focus areas: Ensuring Children and Youth Succeed, Ending Hunger and Homelessness, and Increasing the Financial Stability of Individuals and Families. We develop and invest in programs throughout Maricopa County that demonstrate measureable and lasting results in these areas. At Valley of the Sun United Way we believe a child’s success today is an investment in our community’s future. That’s why ensuring all children start school healthy and ready to succeed is one of our key objectives. Please visit VSUW.org to learn more about the work that we do.
